Dr. Jefrrey Hartog
Dr. Jeffrey Hartog is the director of the Bougainvillea Clinique in Winter Park, Florida. He is dual Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Hartog has received training all over the world, from Johannesburg, South Africa where he grew up and where he completed his early training in dentistry, to Miami, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Glasgow, Scotland where he received his further medical and plastic surgery training.
The training and education Dr. Hartog has received set him apart from many doctors and plastic surgeons. Aside from having dual board certifications in Plastic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Hartog has also completed residencies in four different specialties-Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah, General Surgery at the Baylor University Medical Center, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami, and Anesthesiology at the University of Miami. In addition, Dr. Hartog completed fellowships in Orthognathic Surgery (Jaw deformity surgery) and Pediatric and Craniofacial Surgery. This diverse training makes Dr. Hartog uniquely qualified in all areas of plastic surgery; he is particularly well trained to manage aesthetic surgery of the nose and face with his combined medical and dental background.
In addition to being an expert in facial surgery, Dr. Hartog has completed more than 4000 breast surgeries in his career and is an acknowledged expert in breast augmentation and regenerative breast surgery. Dr. Hartog specializes in corrective breast surgery, for breast implant complications and breast reconstruction complications.
Dr. Hartog has become an acknowledged specialist in the emerging field of Regenerative Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. This field centers around the use of fat grafting in all aspects of plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction and augmentation, facial and skin rejuvenation, body contouring, radiation damage, scar treatments, and wound healing. The Bougainvillea Clinique is the first plastic surgery clinic in the United States to have immediate access to the Liquid Gold Lipobank, an FDA registered tissue bank to store fat removed with liposuction for fat grafting procedures. Dr. Hartog is a consultant to Cytori Therapeutics and has presented nationally and internationally on fat grafting and fat banking.
